It is barely a month ago that I bumped into a cute-looking blush (reviewed here), and today, Spring 2014 has another cutesy from Too Faced Haute Chocolate collection. word of caution: You can’t run; you can’t hide once you lay your eyes on this!
Any girlie girl who loves pink and berries WOULD and SHOULD get this heart-shaped blush!
Something about Berry comes in 3 lovely shades that creates a sweet, romantic flush. You could choose to use the lightest shade as highlight or swirl the colours together before applying the blusher on your cheeks.
I don’t know about you, but when I first made swatches of this baked blush at the counter, I thought of Mary, which was portrayed by Cameron Diaz in “Something about Mary”. If only Mary wore Something about Berry! I find this blush so innocently adorable on someone who is blissfully and delightfully “ignorant” (synonym: unaware) of what happens around her. Hehe!
Something about Berry has something to be loved. Or, should I say, everything! Lovely packaging aside, there is alot of product for the price of RM99! 5.5 grams will definitely last a long time since this blusher is quite pigmented once swirled together!
Although Something about Berry will last you a long time, you will NOT get bored with it. The packaging is already so endearing, and having the trio shades adds to the fun as you could choose whichever shade you would want. The darkest colour comes with some tiny shimmer in it, and on days you want to go a little low-key, you could avoid using the darkest colour of the product. Despite the shimmer, this does not accentuate the pores too much. Still, it is especially great for those who tend to shy away from a berry shade as a blush because Something about Berry isn’t too berry and deep. Rather, this is more of a medium-pink overall.
