When NARS announced that it will debut its store in Malaysia, I was indifferent. I have never adored its rubber-like packaging, but that did not deter me from getting my hands on the mega glitter blush, Super Orgasm!
My jaw dropped when I first saw giant flecks of silver glitter on the pan, and I actually bought this blush unswatched. LOL!
On my skin, the blush gives me a natural look, without looking too dolled-up. The glitter in Super Orgasm does not stay on the cheeks upon application, but the glitter seems to disperse in the air, like how a loose powder does. Having said that, I did not detect the chunky silver glitter landing on my clothes and other facial features; perhaps it was due to me tapping my blush brush on the side of the pan before application.
Although this blush looks hard on the pan, the after application results in slight iridescent finish. The shade may appear light upon initial application, but it is buildable, and that makes this blush not tricky to play with.
The only concern I have with this blush is that my pores were slightly emphasized when I use it. However, the peachy-pink shade is really flattering on light skin tones, and I love how good it looks on photographs. After checking out more swatches of Super Orgasm and Orgasm (yes, NARS named two different blushes as such to fulfill our lust for peachy-pinks), I am even more glad to have settled with the former.
I simply find Super Orgasm more interesting to own, and it is actually wearable despite the giant flecks of silver glitter. To me, Orgasm is……boring. LOL! Again, that is personal, and I just have to remind you that I am a fan of shimmer!
NARS is now available in Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur, and my wallet chirped in RM 120 for Super Orgasm. Do you own anything from NARS that you like?
