Chanel Notes Nu Printemps Lovebunch is All You Need This Spring!

Spring is in the air with Chanel Notes Nu Printemps! Have you checked them out at the counters, already? If you haven’t, read my previous post about my first impression towards this dreamy collection of pink, corals and purple!

From this collection, I brought home some lovely items with me, and I am sooooooo glad I did that! Let the pictures show you this lovely collection that every woman should not miss this Spring.

Swatches first:

Left to Right: 1. Melodieuse (136), 2. Lumieres Facettes Eyeshadow Quad, 3. Impulsion (93) Pink Cream Eyeshadow, & 4. Intonation (69) Cream blush.

Yes, these were carefully selected with no regrets! Some has raised concerns about the pink shade in this eye shadow quad. This photo has captured its true colour here, so NO, it is not pink. It is rather a rosy-apricot, making the entire eye lid looks fresh. Above rosy apricot is another interesting shade, lavender grey that leans more to purple, which could be intensified if you used Diapason (No.92), the purple CREAM eye shadow that is also released together with this collection, and which I happily skipped. Next to lavender grey is golden ivory; the remaining shade next to rosy apricot is an intense brown.

Initially, I wanted the other cream blush that came with this collection, which is No.67 (Chamade), a Deep Pink blush. However, deep pink does not seem to flatter my skin tone; in actual fact, that colour immediately makes me look dull after application. The chosen one, No. 69 (Intonation), which is a warm rose that leans slightly coral brightens up my face, and I can foresee myself using this blush on many occasions! Although this cream blush dries down to a matte finish on the face and does not contain any shimmer, it is quite emollient that does not make the colour looks flat. I intend to have a back-up of this since this cream blush is Limited Edition (unlike the other shade, Chamade), so that says a lot!

Oh, Intonation! You made my heart sing this Spring!

Melodiese (136) compliments Intonation cream blush really well!

This bright coral red can also be worn as a stain, in which it leans towards pink later on! Amazing!

The eye shadow quad is a winner to me. Apparently, this quad was previously known as not very pigmented for its baked formula, but the SA mentioned that it has been reformulated just for this Spring collection. My brushes picked up the colours very easily (even much easier that the Dior palette here), and there were no fall outs either.

Here is the completed look using these few lovebunch, including a dab of Chanel Illusion d’Ombre No. 93 Impulsion (Pink cream eye shadow) in the middle of my eye lid! This cream eye shadow is VERY shimmery but is also a sheer pink with silver sparkles, so I find this shade really versatile. And no worries, you will NOT look like some crazy albino bunny as it is really sheer!

Looking fresh, dreamy and young-er is what every woman wants, besides being loved!
